This midwestern city girl hadn't seen a grasshopper like this until I moved to Honduras. I wasn't even sure what it was at first.

The green grasshopper has a special name in Honduras; instead of "grillo" (the name for the brown grasshopper), they are called "esperanza," which means "hope."
I was born and raised; now I'm in USA studying. It's interesting to see my country from your perspective!
